Full Description

Honda has been posturized as a premium car seller in India, yet another move by Honda to show its presence in the B segment cars. Honda feels that the Brio will be the game changer for Honda in India as B segment cars are hot selling in Indian Automobile market. Brio will be the entry-level small car from Honda and it is surely a head turner on the road. Honda has focused on a few points like road presence, spacious interiors and good fuel economy with a low price tag while designing the car for India. The exteriors are boldly designed with good aerodynamics and sharp lines all over the car. The front shape draws the attention of anybody on the road because of the chrome plate and a Huge Honda emblem. Sides of the car are filled with large windows and then come the most attractive side of the car, the rear end. I personally liked the rear of the car and so does most of the automobile enthusiasts, the rear boot lid is made of glass darkened at the bottom which gives the best in class rear view. It is obvious that the build quality of Honda will be perfect, once again Honda proves themselves in this part. The car is lightweight and the paint job of the car can match the premium Sedans of Honda, we could hardly see any panel gaps and the doors also shut precisely. Interiors are also one of the best in the car, Honda has never compromised on the interior quality and has given the best in class materials the plastic on the dashboard feels a segment higher up and we could hardly find any panel gaps or cheap plastic. The front seating position was comfortable with adequate legroom and knee room for a six-footer the credit goes to the scooped dashboard. The rear legroom and knee room are also spacious and the credit goes to the thin front seat. Back support of the rear seat is too small, also the middle passenger will not feel any bump unlike any other car in the segment. Boot space is too small however the rear seat can bend completely to enhance the luggage space as in when required. The loading lip is placed too high which makes it difficult while loading luggage into the boot. The handling can’t get any better than this, Honda has perfectly planned the handling of the car with a good set of suspension which will not upset the car even in a sharp corner at high speed. The high-speed stability also impressed us but Brio tends to stumble over uneven roads at high speeds. We don’t have to explain about the after sales service of Honda, the pricing is felt a little higher when compare to other cars in the segment like WagonR, Estilo, Hyundai i10, Etios liva but the build quality and the material justifies the price.
